"I purchased a set of Michelin Road 5s from the Redding, CA store on a Friday, expecting to bring my wheels in on Saturday for mount/balance. Plans changed, so I called Sunday AM to confirm store was open and had someone to do mount. Spoke with Tristan (sp?) who initially stated he was short-handed and couldn’t get to it that day. Needed bike early Monday AM. Called around but no tire shops open Sunday. Called Tristan back and explained my dilemma, to which he replied “Bring them in; We’ll take care of you”. Had new tires mounted within the hour. Really appreciated the customer service! Big thanks to store staff!"

"I worked with Jack at the Redding Cycle Gear a couple Saturdays ago. I was after a Shoei helmet. Jack, and another sales clerk talked to me about a new helmet that was made for Cycle Gear by Schuberth. They both made it sound like an excellent helmet. And, I have to admit, for the price it was a nice helmet. However after about a week I had second thoughts. Last helmet I bought from Cycle Gear was a Bilt helmet. It also was described as a very good helmet.
Unfortunately, my experience with the Bilt helmet was less than desireable. Because of this experience, I felt instead of going with another helmet I had not heard of before (but did some research and seemed to be a good product) I wanted to go back to my first choice.
I went back to the store the following weekend. Again worked with Jack. I told him I would like to compare the Shoei with the Schuberth head to head. I did that and was convinced the Shoei had what I was looking for.
Jack allowed me to return the Schuberth, which was in new condition.
I'm very pleased that your sales staff is more focused on my satisfaction than any other part of the sale, even though the Shoei was a few hundred dollars more.
I'm glad we have a Cycle Gear in Redding and will continue to shop there with confidence.
